Location:

Litchfield is situated halfway between Newbury and Winchester, 4 miles North of Whitchurch.
Access is minutes from either the Northbound or Southbound carriageway of the A34.

Going South on the A34:

If travelling from the North on the A34, take the turning after Tot Hill services (approx 5 miles) signed 'Whitchurch Silk Mill'.
As soon as you come off the slip road turn immediately left - the village is straight ahead of you.

Going North on the A34:

If travelling from the South on the A34, ignore the sign for 'Whitchurch Silk Mill' and take the following turn (approx 4 miles) signed 'Litchfield, Dunley, Woodcott'.
At the top of the slip turn right across the A34.
At the T junction turn left - the turning for Litchfield is just past the bends on the right. Go slow otherwise you'll end up on the A34 going south!
Take care when turning right into the village as the approaching traffic can be at motorway speeds!
